Default dsm ecu to control engine, honda ecu to control the rest?

Im wondering if this is possible. I kno that a honda ecu could run the motor if it wasnt hooked to anything else in the car, i wonder if the dsm could. Just run all wires pertaining to running the enigne, and make the engine run soley off the dsm fuel management?

Think its even possible.

Yeah its possible, but you just need to figure out how to get your Honda motor to rotate in the opposite direction...

I think it does care...

And also there's a TON of other reasons why it wouldn't work and this topic has been discussed several times before

why not just splice in some megasquirt instead? Hell of a lot easier then what you are talking about doing.

megasquirt still requires tuning for each mod that you do. If im running dsm fuel setups, i turn the boost from 8 to 15 lbs, all i do is turn it up, and let er rip.

It only comes up in fancy letter for the super special global mods. I'm climbing the corporate ladder and maybe one day I'll have my name in fancy colors too And my stars only turn cool colors when I'm in my hood, the mean street red light district of general discussion

I'm glad to hear that there is no tuning involved when you put a 2.0L DOHC ECU on a 1.6L SOHC motor
