Default air filter

i have no room for n air filter! would something like these be worth trying? or do they suck *****!

basically the compressor side is on the drivers side and really hardly any room to work with... any ideas?? thanks!

no your motor suck way harder then a motor bike, but go for it and post pic when you do lol

That would be the best idea. I run a short cone filter, maybe 3" in length. If you don't even have room for something like that I'd say your only option would probably be a few layers of metal screen to keep out the big stuff

Ive got abnout 5-6inches in length, but only about an inch to the power steering bracket.. thats with a 2.5" pipe... ill take a pic and more measurements.. so far i have two layers of screen...

Do those carb filters have some good metal structure to them? If I were to buy one I would probably buy the last one with the chrome endcap, as it seems it's not just a sock and it probably has some support in it. I don't know, but like gen4acclude said a car engine especially with a turbo will pull in alot more air than a dirtbike carb.

you could run it with the two layers of screen you have now with pantyhoes sandwhich between them that good for like 10 microns

ya the panty hoes idea was tried by a buddy, a few days later it wasnt there, too hot and its just burned up...

in my case i used a whitey bend 90degres to clear the frame. It was impossible to fit a k&n filter or a u-bend.
