i put a foam filter on my 16g and it sucked it in haha no damage but funny. and i went to advanced and bought a ricer filter from apc i believe. it is like.. 2.5-3-4" they have a "bushing" its would be perfect for what you need i think the length outward is.. 4" tops.

the largest it can be in diameter is 4 1/4' inches.. ill go check em out tho.. pic in the morning

does k&n make cone filters in that size? I don't want to skimp on something like this and have it fall apart, only to suck pieces into the turbo. I know it's unlikely, but it has happened.

it isnt unlikely if you are using a foam unit.. mine even had a metal coil inside for it to hold shape and it sucked it in.

im talking about the style that you are using right now...the apc filter. I dont know when/where, but i remember a thread where this happened.
