i've got an Apexi N-1 full cat-back. i love the sound, it only gets loud when you really stomp it, otherwise its not a whole lot louder than stock

My buddy has an Apexi ws in his turbo civic, has a litle back presure but sounds beautiful, not too loud but there when you need it
If you ask me its worth spending the litle bit of extra money

It cost me about $15 and left over turbo piping to build this beauty...

I now have a magnaflo but i'm rethinking about going back to straight dump... way quicker spool and it just felt like more raw power intstatly.

either way it cost way less than whats available comercially.... kteller kit looks like a good alternative to DIY too.

This being my first turbo setup, I'm not going to spend much money on it.
So $500 exhaust is out of the question
I would also like to have my exhaust be as quiet as possible; not too much louder than stock.

That sounds like something I would want to do.
Do you think most shops would see $100 as an acceptable price?
What piping did you use? No Cat?

I was lucky enough to have my father with a bit of welding experience and access to a tig welder from work. 3" piping with mandrel bends cost me 120 NZ$ all up (dunno how much that is US), labour = free and i used a turboflow mufler which i alread had on the the car. Took two weeks too fit the damn thing under the car but its a beauty and sounds mint!
