If you want something quiet, run 2.25 or 2.5 w/at least 1 resonator and a muffler. Choose your muffler wisely. I use a dyomax Turbo muffler on my 240sx (not a straight-through) and it's awesome. but slightly slower spool than my dynomax 3" straight-through

the cops out here are pretty strict.

 

I bought a 3" kit from kteller for just under $300, a 3" resonator. and 2.5" Felx pipe to go on my 2.5" downpipe, and a 3" Magnaflow offset, but straight through muffler for my setup. Am having that all put on next week probably.

 

if he's anywhere near me, the cops don't know ---- about emissions, and they have no way to prove that your exhaust is too loud.

I was looking on Kteller and saw they had 2.5" flex pipes. I know that the mesh itself is stainless, but are the ends stainless as well? or mild steel? I don't wanna bring it all to work just to TIG it all up.

 

They arent too bad. I want my exhaust to just be a tad louder than stock.
I'm not worried about spool time because my turbo is tiny (td04-13g).
Plus, loud exhaust make me sick.

Na bro $NZ is New Zealand dollars lol, so many foreingers think New Zealand is part of Auz. We just to the right of them a long small skinny country lol. We here also have strict exhaust laws emmision wise they dont care but noise wise we get pinged like ----! i been green stickered once when my car was NA and far too loud half the fault was me full reeving out of Burger King lol
