My boss from my old job used to use ARP's head stud kit's for VW's (old 8 valve ones i think) for the Honda D-series. Supposedly they're the same length and thread pitch. Can't say for sure, but something for you to check into anyway

I got my ARP studs from lightning motorsports. Best price I found: $89

d16a6 head uses same size as Z6. Block doesn't matter. Y8 uses a different size.

I torqued mine down to 60ft lbs.

Oh and your head is not lifting, so don't think the ARP head studs will help you. Your blowing head gaskets because the sleeves are walking/shifting under heavy load. You will need to back yout timing down to fix the problem... it's all about timing.

Here is a good thread to read with more info.

Check out this post I made on H-T and fill me in if you know any more info

on a y8 block + z6 head combo z6 studs are way to long except for one of the holes

also if u use y8 honda studs you may pop the threads of the top left bolt hole because of the step on the z6 head, it just grabs on a few threads and with enough torque it rips what ever the bolt was holding onto out of the hole, so be very careful
