not trying to start anything but have you tried it. Some of those small radiator fans can flow quite a few cfm's.

would a half radiotor fit? if so you could mount it in that empty space that you now have for getting smaller Radiator.

You could cut a hole on the side of the bumper where the ic is then put a backwards hoodscoop on the corner.

here is my saab intercooler installed although i have a civic.

i like the saab cuz it has the largest inlet/outlets.
