Re:Jeff or Beau intake question.
For those who can`t or don`t want to build there own I can make one for you. This is a very simple fabrication job, the only thing is the price of the used intake to get the flange off of. if you supply the intake it wold be a snap. I can get the intakes locally very easily, there is a honda only salvage yard near me but they are expensive. If anyone is enterested E mail me and I will give you a price quote. E mail is customcoach@comcast.net

Re:Jeff or Beau intake question.
I have a question about the manifold. How did you hook up the idle valve that's on the back of the stock manifold. I dont' see a place to put it on your manifold or on the Venom manifold. Do you leave it off? If so, won't this set a check engine light? If not, how do you hook it up? I'm new to all this, so thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Re:Jeff or Beau intake question.
the venom intake and str both have spots drilled and tapped for it.. I am not running one, my idle is controlled by the screw stop on the t-body, should idle around 2200 rpms when I am done.

Re:Jeff or Beau intake question.
I'm assuming that's a race only set up with the high idle (ha ha, I'm finally sounding smart), with a street set up you would drill and tap that ass, right?
|
Re:Jeff or Beau intake question.
indeed, its a race only setup, the back plate (towards the firewall) is 1/4 inch thick, so it has meat to drill and tap, to keep threads.
