Oh I'm sorry. I thought you made this post with the question of wether a filter would be better. I didn't realize you already made up your mind that you're right. Do what you want.

btw, im just putting up a suggestion for those that really care/wonder about oil supply quality to their turbo's, to the people that take it personal,

Yeah but next time I would reccomend not "playing around" if you want to seriously talk about a topic. Than maybe you would be able to have a real discussion and this thread would have turned out differently than it did.

99% of the posts on this site have 100x's worse things being said in a "real discussion" than "dumbass"

and to whomever changed the poll questions...

thats ------- gay.

if i wanted that in the poll about oil changes i would have put it in there...

as if oil changes takes away all the oil from the engine and as if the oil filter filters out all of the particles.

think about it, your running unfiltered oil right into your nice new turbo. that oil coming from the pressure sensor T in the block is not filtered before it goes to the sensor (at least im pretty sure it doesnt).

even then, you could have a chunk of sludge break off, bearing shavings,
You started thinking. Then you began to wonder. Then you thought about how many people don't use a filter and rolled your eyes. Then you forgot that HMT doesn't use "nice new turbos". Then you made a statement about the oil not being filtered and even said you weren't sure if that were even true. Then you think bearing shavings? could somehow be in the motor, but if bearing shavings were traveling around in your motor, your turbo wouldn't have a home anymore. And then you made a poll where if someone didn't buy into your theory they would be a dumbass.

Then everyone pointed out to you that your theory is useless, and you get pissy like you just spent half your scientific life proving the theory.

Cliff notes: *****

Haha, "dsm's dont have any problems..."

Germ: it was a good point that you brought up an oil filter before the, i'm going to use one. thanks for the insight.

It looks like I don't have to put a filter on but i'm going to anyways just incase the filter i have doesn't filter out what needs to be filtered. D-series! yey!
