yeah, so change your oil like you should. I'm gonna run 50 filters in my feedline and then tell you you're a dipshit for only using one. Would I be wrong, or would I be making the equivilent of your own point here?

Changing oil and filter frequently should be sufficient. I believe an inline filter CAN be a problem IF it is not serviced or replaced regularly, thus causing a greater problem of starving the internals of its life blood.

lets not try to re-invent the wheel here. any oil flowing through those feed lines is already filtered, what do you think an oil filter is for? its not normal to have dirt and debris in oil if you do then something is wrong. im not saying its dumb to run a filter inline but its not necessary, turbos are killed by excessive oil pressure not insufficient filtration. if you want to do yourself a favor add in inline oil restrictor but you may not need it because you are probably running 20 inline oil filters which will inadvertantly act as an oil restrictor. I.O.W if you got ocd do it!

sounds like a good idea but its just another place that oil can possibly leek from.

its the same deal as trying to use as little silicon couplers as possible so if theres a leak u don’t have to check 15 couplers to see witch ones leaking
