S-10 Turbo Kit

Re:S-10 Turbo Kit
My friend has a turbo kit on his s10, 1989. Huge fueling problems because he can't regulate the fuel pressure with the way his stock injection system is set up. The newer vortec engines are much easier to work with. But, he dyno at 375 lbs of torque and 300 whp 10 psi. The truck is sick, and his turbo kit is for sale now as he just bought a Mazda 323 GT.

Re:S-10 Turbo Kit
oh sorry, his is the 4.3 No the truck has been running for a year now making 10 psi. The fuel was still very hard to tune. Ended up making a bleed off valve on the top of the FMU to get micro adjustment out of it. In the end, it was the injectors that was the problem. They only work under very low pressure, and as soon as you add pressure, they go static. He said a few companies make performance injectors for his 4.3 and that would sold the problem, he was just to cheap to buy them He also made a 5.9 Dodge Dakota RT turbo. bad ****, since those pics, it now has a t66 in it.

Re:S-10 Turbo Kit
An FMU can work, but it depends on your fuel system.. if I were you, I would look into a megasquirt type system or an SDS EIC system, (basically additional injector controls)
