Default stuck in the middle of install need help

I am in the middle of my instalation when a came across a problem, that i cant figure it out. mayby i am working on this project for to long (too many hours my brain and body are shutting down). Anyways I have an external wastegate from another turbo and Iam not sure at what psi its set at. it is adjustable (lenghten arm to lower boost). I need to make a bracket to mount it, but how do i set it up so that I know how much psi it will open up at. I want max 7psi . the problem is that I cant make a bracket for it until I know how long the arm is going to be. please help!

if it is adjustable then just make the bracket and leave enough room to bolt the actuator on in a different place once you find get it running.

do you have a boost gauge?

btw...you are working with an internal wastegate

yeah, thats an internal wastegate, and if its adjustable you will just have to do it by trial and error.

IF U HAD AN EXTERNAL GATE U WOULD CHANGE THE PSI WITH A DIFFERENT SPRING...SO U WOULD DEFFENATLY KNOW WHAT U R RUNNING....IF U WANT TO GET A CHEAP EXTERNAL ONE...SOME CARS HAVE THEM STOCK....

^^^ seriously... You people have to stop talking in cap locks. I dont know why it pisses me off so much, but it does. There are very few internal gates that are set at more than 8psi. I'd just run it how it is and see how much boost you get.

+1

just keep your foot out of it completely incase it spikes or you hooked it up wrong and you'll be fine, i drove my talon for a month with my WG shot and had spikes upwards of 30psi, but i kept my foot out of it and never let it get above 20

when you install the gate though, make sure it's closed completely in it's "natural" state
