Default t25, 14b, T3, IHI? for CRX d16a6/newbies questions!

Heyas guys been a long time fan/reader of HMT. Im eventually planning/dreaming on doing a junkyard turbo set up on a stock SI D16A6. I know it would probably be easier to buy a kit, but I cant say I built that, plus im cheap. Im looking for the most effcient/easiest to install turbo. Im planning on useing the HF/STD/HX mani with an adapter plate. What would be the pros and cons of T25, 14b, T3, IHI for this set up, (or anything that could be better). :P

and just to bable on some more.

for money reasons, im debating weither to use a SMIC, or a FMIC. The most important part of this set up is going to be my fuel/engine managment. Im planning on getting some 450s, and hitting up Xenocron to get a chipped ecu and probably using turbo edit. let me know any other advice on how to safely cut corners. haha

Haha!
its good to not hear "spend money and do it the right way" Thats all i hear over on honda tech. To me part of the glory is saying, "yeah i built this POS, for dirt cheap" when it smokes some guys 20k+ ride.

Ive been researching, just sent an email to Xenocron bout fuel/engine management, hes the man

Hotrex:
t3 48/60, JRC 5. sounds good but why over something else? how fast does a that turbo spool, and is there any pains about mounting it. IE things being in the way, stupid flanges that need adapters?

THanks

t3 48/60 will spool around 3k and pull hard to redline. its the biggest of the turbos u listed. and glows the most cfm. cfm = hp so thats a good thing. find a turbo mani with a t3 flange and your golden. mounting a t3 is standard

actually I think i awnswered my own question.

Is this the same size turbo that jeff ran on his Mini me?

"87 Nissan 300zx TurboCharger, Oil cooled and watercooled. Internal Wastegate is set at 5.5psi..These turbos are pretty small, a bit smaller then a T-25, It should spool up pretty fast on any D-series. The compressor has been rotated and the center turbo section too. I am only using 1 out of the 2 wastegate actuator mounting fasteners."

Also is there any better solotuions to a down pipe than this:

haha i just wanted to use this afro guy, he looks cool

I'm feeling generous tonight.

Hf manifold w/adaptor plate
T3 42/48 from a saab for street (48/60 is nice, but fully spools at 4k nignog.)
dsm 450 injectors
dsm SMIC or Custom Coach FMIC ($170 shipped this week)
dsm 1g blow off
make the charge piping
make the downpipe (or have exhaust shop do it)
xenocron for management

I should win the newb helper of the month award.
