pipe dope all day long. loctite makes it. it is a white paste probably in a tube called pipe thread sealant.

anti sieze is for nuts and bolts, not pipe threads.

I just use heman strength tightening! If it leaks...tighten it some more until it stop and if it don't stop...well then comes the JB weld.

Pipe dope or liquid teflon > teflon tape. Don't use anti seize on oil lines.

anti seize isn't a sealant, it's an 'anti seize'. if your feed line is seizing up to your fittings, you need to change your oil more often or let the oil cool down more. pipe dope is messy and overkill. everyday teflon tape is more than adequate.

teflon tape is not messy at all, and it seals good as well either will work, just use whatever you have laying around, it's not that big of a deal, lots of things will do the job.

The reason why people don't recommend teflon tape is because of the possiblilty that some of it might end up in the oil system and plug the damn thing. Sure I use it and so does a million other people, but there are better things to use (pipe dope, liquid teflon) besides, half the people using don't know the proper way to rap the tape
