I just got the VAFC2 couple days ago so i installed the 450 injectors back in again as well as my VAFC (using FMU 12:1). We drove it and noticed a terrible smell of gas leaking. Stopped back in the garage and noticed one of the injectors wasn't tight or something so the Fuel was leaking out of that. Had to took off the fuel rail to adjust the injectors again and installed them back. Started the car so check if there's any Fuel leaking again and that's when the car starts that problem.
P>S My bro and I wanted to tuned up the Fuel Pressure all the way up on the VAFC to make sure that we're not running lean and blow up the motor. We figured if we run rich, the worst it can do is shut off the engine but lean is an Explode. So i don't know if anything has to do with that. Well, we tried to lower the fuel pressure from the AFC down but the car is acting weird at this time so no chance test drive it. Also, we we first drove it around the city for tuning using VAFC, we heard some kinda noise like Vacuum is leaking or something (I think it's the vacuum tube from the Boost Gauge connect to the Vacuum source to run to the Intake manifold, they're diff hoses and connected them together using a 2 sides fitting) I found some forums and people had problem like mine but not exactly. Some think it's vacuum leak, some thinks it has to do with the Throttle Cover Valve..etc. Not sure.

Soooo....you'
're using a 12:1 FMU and 450cc injectors with an AFC and you cranked the fuel all the way up on the AFC? I would say you're dumping way to much fuel into your cylinders, but that would be a HUGE understatement. Pick one, AFC with 450cc injectors or the FMU with stock injectors, not both.

Here are your options:
Use the AFC and the 450cc injectors and sell the missing link.
Use the 12:1 FMU with stock injectors and use the missing link, sell the 450cc injectors.

Yea Dr.Boost. I think i'll choose to keep the 450 and AFC. Well, as you know first time turboing then everyone has the exited moment to see what's the diff the car makes before and after . we tried test drive the car after the problem fixed using FMU, 450, Missing Link, AFC (yea i know) and the car went up to about 4-4500rpm and maxed out. A friend, who knows alot of stuff about this was helping out, and he told me the samething that you're saying. WEll, i'll ditch the FMU and the missing Link tomorrow. But i got a question, i know that the Missing Link hide boost and prevent from the CEL turns on. If i don't have the missing Link, then the CEL will turn on then how am i supposed to get it off. AS of right now, the CEL is on with the missing link still installed.

What CEL are you getting? I doubt it's from the MAP. Probably something to do with the o2 sensor since it's getting a shower of gas everytime you step on the peddle. Search for "AFC hack" and that will tell you why you won't get a CEL with the AFC and 450cc injectors without the missing link.

We tried to adjust/reseat the injectors and test drove it but still leaking. So i thought that if we take off all the O rings and see if that will prevent from leaking. ( I know, why did i even do that Well, believe it or not, i've installed the injectors without the O rings before and they worked fine, no oil leak whatsoever) But somehow this time we tried to installed them back without the O rings. THat was when the problem came in. So I had a friend came over and we all went to Autozone and found some new O rings that will fit the Injectors perfectly and reinstalled them back..Car worked and run perfectly. Thanks for the help GUys (well, we're still working on the tuning Air/Fuel) Well, hope you guys learned something on this subject cause I sure did LEARN something New

Anyways, I've ditched the FMU and Missing Link today and did some drving with my bro beside adjusting the AFC2. Have you guys ever used VAFC2 for Air/FUel before?.. WEll, i'm using narrowband o2 sensor but it works like ----. The light keeps going up and down between rich and lean. That scares the hell out of me. I'll be looking for a good Wideband 02 pretty soon. As of right now, I hope someone can help me on the tuning. We tried sever diff methods. Tried put as much fuel as possible in the engine at first cause we think that it's better flooded the engine then no fuel at all (engine explode), tried lower the fuel pressure down and so on with sever diff runs. Car still doesn't kick in right. Some times it went up to 3K rpm, sometimes 4 but never passed 4. IF some of you guys have the correct adjustment on the AFC2, please share it. Tell me what you guys think and help if you know how to correct the adj on AFC2. Damn, wish i have the wideband
Thanks
