Default Turbo B & D series downpipe the same?

I need to get a downpipe for my d series and i have been told that the downpipe is the same for the both of these engines. Is it true? I wouldn't think so, but thought i would ask.

the answer is no...

the downpipe needs to match the manifold you are using but on differen motors it could place the turbo at a different spot...you really need a custon downpipe....

But I did hold my D series Custom downpipe made for a Revhard mani up to my LS swap with a No-Name cast manifold and it was really close to lining up...but you probably won't be able to do it without our modfication...

it prob wont be a direct fit but you shouldnt have to go and make a new one, just modify what you have.
