personaly i dont consider 1-4 or vs a mustang but thats just me. If your going to get a mustang at least let it be v8. There v6 engines are weak in my opinion. I mean the import cars v6 are more powerful than those :1

Hey, give 'em some credit, atleast it isn't the 4 cylinder, LOL!

When I first heard about a mustang with a 4 banger, I thought it was a joke...Well...it kinda is.

Oh well, Whitey. I already knew you weren't prepared for the grizzled, manly viewpoint.

What is this rubbish? The 2.3T is tougher than every 302 made after '69, and better than any Ford V6 (excluding the Yama-SHO).

the v6 has the same brakes as the gt, same suspension minus sway bar differences, and the 7.5 rear was used behind older 5.0's so obviously it isnt totally junk.

And check out 3.8mustang.com or turbomustangs.com.....a few guys there have some pretty nice turbo setups making upwards of 300-400hp reliably on stock motors.

Sitar was running low 10's on a 7.5 before it gave out.

A "weak" Ford rear end is about as good as a "strong" Chebbie one...

No, I'm pretty certain 7.5 > 12 bolt. But, I'm biased.

Some of the Capri's and 4cyl NA Mustang had 7.5

you're crazy if you think that...

the 12 bolts are not weak

my camaro has a 12 bolt in it, with 550+ ftlbs and constant clutch dumps and power shifting... blew 4 m20 trannies and bent one driveshaft... rear end lives
