what are the ways to adjust external wastegates?
okeedokee, i did search in hmt on how to do this, but just found a few on internal wastegates, and bending the metal, but nothing on external wastegates.
i heard that you can change the spring to set it, but honestly, who wants to keep switchin the spring out every weekend when u want some higher psi eh? also i heard you can get one of those variable boost controller that uses the vaccum line, and lets more or less air to flow to the wastegate.
so...how the hell does one of those electronic boost controller work? i thought boost was controlled by frickin wastegate, and dont that need some physical change? like vaccum, or spring tension? let me know..word!

Re:what are the ways to adjust external wastegates?
bovs work at any level of boost (except like 30psi crazy ----)
also u dont have to change the spring to get more boost, u just simply get a small boost controller.
eletronic boost controllers are cool because they dont let boost to the WG until full boost is reached. because the WG will open slowly until peak PSI.
im thinking u could just use a relief valve inline to do the same job.

im feelin that vibe, im likin that inline relief valve idea, plus its cheaper, hmmm, so your saying my turboxs rfl thats rated 10-25psi will work if i boost 8psi? man i dont understand this differential ----. im just gonna slap the ho on and see what happens! weeeeeee
