well yes and no, svt focus run around 350 hp on stock internal, and 450 is judt the starting point. im going to want to go higher than that if everything goes smoothly. hopefully the car holds together running with megasquirt.

i will probably be the first in northamerica to run a focus on megssquirt alone, hopefully even make some $$ fronm it by selling adapter harnesses.

im wondering how you plan to make 450hp out of the zetec motor? What do you plan on doing with the weak mazda fwd trans? Ive been around the ford/mazda stuff long enough to know that your fuel system should be one of your last worries.Making 320+hp over stock in that car is going to be a uphill fight.Got any pics of the build up?

are you an engineer? it sounds like it with how complicated you are making this. you are going to have to do the same wiring with an external pump as an internal. just mount a walbro in the stock location and run a return line from your fuel rail back to the tank. problem solved, it will take you an afternoon to make it work

looks to me like hes reading a jegs catalog, and just throwing names out there.IDK how he thinks hell hit 450hp if he cant even find out to rig up a fuel system.I wish he lived closer, id make him lick my taint after i pulled on him with my N/A escort.....

undecided fuel syustem.

cam gears
my design for an intake mani.
and a whole lot of boost.

and if this doesnt take me too 450 im buying a honda.lol

that should do it. Your only bottle neck might be the head. I know absolutly nothing about ford/mazda heads. 450 is possible with unported Honda heads

or why not run a focus SVT pump and a KB boost-a-pump. i know for a fact its good for at least 500WHP my buddies mach 1 made 466 on a mustang dyno and went 10.8@126 on just a focus pump and a boostapump.

Going return style is a waste of money...but if you want a proper set up without going to a fuel cell, buy a fuel sump and have it welded into your fuel tank. Feed/starvation problems solved.

A single Walbro 255HP will do 650 whp.
