Re: i think we struck a nerve
there are programs that archive(in your case, carbon copy the website on that given day/time/week/month or when you want to copy it). its how hmt is pretty much resides on. though as we know, hasnt always been kept up on lol. also i dont think you can change anything on a backup copy. an archiver as far as i know just copies the material and stores it. so im at a loss for words there.

she has no grounds to sue for any reason....any pictures we got from her were on public domain...if she didnt want them released, she shouldnt have put them on the net....or at least made it password required

Re: i think we struck a nerve
Ok i follow, So it backups to a tangable file. Like a rar or somehitng but probably propritary like how PDF's are only opened by adobe. but still if its a tangable file, then it can be changed. At work i go inside a backup image all the time and retrrieve or delete files all the time, but I've never tried adding or changing one though. im sure its different somehow but in princepal i cant see why you wouldnt be able to modify it if you can touch it.

Re: i think we struck a nerve
if its phpBB she can back it up pretty much anytime, and it just backs up stuff from the sql database, just as easy to restore too... as for the site :1 if its got 100 people, i cant imagine it would be worth making it closed to the public... what a lameass
