From what i have heard from my people collin is one of the main reasons why you got your car back. but thats just what i heard. who knows. i dont know who ended up telling you who had the turbo and i dont know who you got it back from, all i know is that someone called me asking if i wanted to buy the turbo i took a look at it and said no it was to custom for me to have it. im glad you got it back, im really not for stolen parts or stealing cars. but he was selling the turbo cheap. and if it wouldnt have been so custom id have it right now.

im just letting him know what i heard. infact ill tell him and everyone what i heard. someone. who apparently is (names wernt dropped when i found out)whom ive met once at a party and is a total jackass. jacked a car from some apartments near troutdale area. they thought the car was Dual cam when it was a single cam. (congrats on the fastest turbo that ive ever heard of) then they took it to mt hood. and stripped it.

ive learned from the thread that they didnt strip it. only took the turbo out. which clearly answers the question many of you have posted. they stole the car for the turbo. no damage was done, i thought they would have trashed it. i found out who jacked the car. found out what kind of car it was, and ive never seen that car before in my life. i wouldnt have thought it was that fast.

i came across this, saw that you guys were giving collin ---- and just wanted to clear his name. he has done nothing wrong nor have i. and you trying to smear his name and post his personal info is cool.

For the record we recovered the vehicle and parts without having ever shared one word with Colin.

He did have knowledge of it, I know that for a fact.

whitey and the rest of you have to remember that every single one of these guys are compulsive liars. 90% of the ---- out of their mouth is re-arranged bullshit. the funny and best parts is, they're also complete retards and very sloppy at what they do. if i had a nickel for every time one of these guys told me one thing, and then 5 minutes later re-told the lie but fucked up and completely reversed the information, id be a millioniare.

Not to be a smartass, but, why didn't you guys find the car and then call the cops? If you did they could have gone forward with charges. It would have been an inconvenience while they searched the car for evidence but you could have had these puds put in the pokey. They had my ZX-7 for 3wks after it was recovered but they found the ------ that stole it and he got 5yrs. Either way around, you got your car back unscathed.

Because it was way the ---- out in the woods and they more than likely would have ended up towing it. I didn't really feel like paying $500+ for a tow bill. The cops wouldn't have done ---- anyways. I did consider calling the cops when I found out where it was, but what are they going to do? "Yep that's your car alright, okay have a nice day". I coud easily call the cops and tell them who we got my tubo kit from. There were 4 people that went to meet up with the guy to buy it, so it probably wouldn't be that hard to press charges, especially if you know the right people. Then I'm sure he would tell them the whole story. Like you said though I got it all back undamaged.

P.S. You could bring a civil suit against these guys and sue for damages including emotional stress. You could also sue for the cost it would be to have a shop restore your car to the pre-theft condition, which could be a lot from a nice shop.

Plus, in a civil suit the burden of proof is NOT beyond a reasonable doubt, it's only by a proponderance of the evidence. So it's much easier to prove your case in a civil suit. I say sue the thieves for a ---- ton of money. If they don't have the money now the court will garnish their wages until it is paid in full.

Why aren't the cops doing anything about this anyways? Or are they??
