Re: Quaife LSD question
Thanks for the responses, Im gonna invest in some really sticky tires.
This is my first turbo car, and Im still learning how to really drive it. Maybe its just me. Ill practice and get pointers. |
Re: Quaife LSD question
lsd helps keep you from meeting the guy in the lane next to you when you launch the car.
The quaife is probably the industry leader right now, and is a bad ass LSD. |
Re: Quaife LSD question
What sticky tire do you noggs run?
I was looking at the Tire Rack and these are some options. https://www.tirerack.com/images/tire...h_ra_ci2_s.jpg Avon Tech R-A https://www.tirerack.com/images/tire...rce_drag_s.jpg BFG G-force T/A Drag Radial https://www.tirerack.com/images/tire...o_a6_ci2_s.jpg Hoosier A6 / R6 https://www.tirerack.com/images/tire...v710_ci2_s.jpg Kumho Ecsta V-710 |
Re: Quaife LSD question
Can't recommend any of those specifically, i've only ever used semi-slicks and remoulds for track racing (ie round bendy tracks) however, i would say, you'll spend alot of time changing tyres if you plan on going near rain (or a puddle).

DRs leave me a little cold, but do a pretty good job for the 180-250 whp Civics. Azenis are equal to or better than BFGs from a roll, and I'd try Nitto 555Rs before I'd buy a set of BFGs. The MT Sportsman "I" treads suck at the track, but they are awesome on the street and look like lawn tractor tires. :y |
