LOL I'm not trying to make the damn thing fast. I intend to repeatedly brick the ECU reflashing it with alpha/beta code and leaving the car sitting for weeks at a time until I become undisgusted with it and fix it.

At the very least it is pushing the MS crew in the right direction of community consultation etc, so it will never be a complete waste of time. I'd be pretty pissed if I spent that much time on it and it was never used, so I'll be trying my very hardest to make it happen ASAP till it does.
