Some people put loctite on ring gear bolts religiously and because they have been known to come loose even after being torqued. So it might be possible to torque em down and then for whatever reason come loose. My guess would be some whack *** torque sequence causing it. Then again what do I know, I put mine on with an impact wrench

Ill be there tomorrow, but not running it till I get the race tranny in it. Thats what I say now with a full tank of 103 in it... LOL.
Theres No point. Next track appearance it will run mid-deep 11s on street tires... Then, Slick her up for the 10s. Dont want to break this tranny though. 11 97 at 128 not even close to maxing the nog controller already, launching like Gene... I think it will be plenty to get it where I want to go.
The difference between the acceleration with the OEM tranny and the Saenz set is VERY noticable. The difference between the lsd oem tanny and non is VERY noticable. If the LSD in the streaight cut set compounds the difference over the OEM tranny with the open diff, I think it may run faster than Im looking for.

I didnt run my pile.... Waiting for the gearset... I REALLLLLY wasnted too... Bad, but im sick of huffing trannys in in out of this ------- thing just because i can. Its old... Im more interested in howe much of a difference the LSD tranny is in strength than an iopen diff one.
Turned the boost up to 22 and raped the street instead. I have a full tank of race gas in it right now... BUt the trans is STILL in one piece. Between the Power, Tires, Traction bar setup (with the rods extended about as far as i can) the alignment and the LSD..... All I can szAy is ------- wow. You can FEEL the tires like distorting and car flexing trying to keep it all planted... ITS ------- AWESOME..... Cant wait to run 26 pounds at the track on slicks. 26". It should hook like a **** on acrack binge. JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT!!!!
NOT ONE other tranny Ive had in it so far has taken the abuse this one has (which is pretty ironic considering Ive driven it more and beat it just as hard as I did the built one). ID say the issue really seems to be the LSD. IT PULLS SOOOOOOO hard in 2, 3 and four... I have yet to boost in fifth on it (for more than a second), as thats over 140... ID say it tops out at about 170 with this box in it. BUT it is still in one piece, no weird noises, or noticeable slop....
Justin got pulled over behind me by a cop on the way home for the track for his exhaust... Cop figured ourt it was me, asked him if he thought I was going to come back for him, and told Him to tell me Im a "FUCKSTICK" lmao... That mde my day....!!!! More than walking the bike on the way home.... hahaha
