Because he first promised me 2-3 weeks and the kit would be all finished.

No offense to Nathan but he says he's having trouble accessing the shop where he welds and it could take him MONTHS to finish the manifold and downpipe.. it's taken him almost 2.5 months.. i'm not waiting any longer. I also have a friend with a t3 flanged manifold in a kit for sale.. he might part it out for me.

And I kind of am in a rush. You see, all my friends think i'm just like all the other stupid ricers lying about some turbo kit i dreamed up. I'm really getting embarrassed.

 

No offense, but you should have better reasons than that.

If the reason is "people think im a stupid ricer making ---- up" and you care about that enough to hurry and get it so they stop thinking that. Well my friend that makes you a ricer. My .02

Alright well It is now 54AM where I am and I just got home so i figured id post up. I talked to nathan on the 9th and I was informed that my dp was going to be done tonight but since i wasnt on I haven't been able to talk to him and confirm this.

I can also see where hunter just doesn't want to wait for the kit anymore. It has been over 3 months for me now and if he had anything more than just the dp to make I would be wanting the same thing. So, i dont blame Hunter at all. I trust Nathan and was never worried about him screwing meover it is just that he is definately not ready to be selling kits to people if he can't come true on his promises of completion in 2 weeks. I know things come up so of course there is leway but by no means should there be 3 months of it.

Also to whoever said the kits were going to be low quality or what not... They Won't. I have seen his work and to be honest he days one of the better jobs I have seen. Not that this justifies the amount of time I have waited but he will produce a good product in the end.

All in all I am sure Hunter will keep everyone posted and take pics when his kit arrives. I will also keep this board posted as to where my kit stands and when all is complete and everyone is happy... this Topic-Post will just fade off into the archives of HMT.

No offense taken.. but I that's only a reason for the 'rush' (in addition to already waiting 2.5 months, anticipation kills me), that's not my reason for getting the kit. You try getting laughed at, when two of your best friends have 350+whp 3rd gen rx7's, an e36 m3, and the other has a 500whp ws6 trans am.. Needless to say, I get left behind alot. And if you dont believe me I can go take pics :P

 

I am actually still waiting for ----... its now been 3 days since my dp was suppose to be completed and still no word from Nathan about what is going on. He said he also needs to test fit the pipes but he said this week it will be shipped out i will keep you guys posted.

 

You'll only need half of a redneck. Nathan reminds me of Cody from American Chopper. He's a little hick kid.
He pm'd me a couple days back and said he needed some oil line kits.

I should be seeing him within the next week or so when he picks up the oil lines. I'll get to the bottom of it.
