If you slowly introduce it then the injectors have time to get used to the biodiesel, otherwise they choke and die from overdose. Once the injectors build their tolerance and immunity to clogging, you can boost them on biofuel.

Riiiiigggghhhhhhtttt.

9,000,000 decibel retard? ::)

Last time I checked the Apexi World Sport 2 exhaust is pretty ------- quiet. I am sure that your Camaro is much louder than his teg.

Yeah, but what happens once their tolerance gets high and they can't get their biodiesel fix anymore? Are there any cold water extractions, or ways to methylate, biodiesel?

Everyone is so ignorant towards VWs. No car is perfect.

When you start unsing biodiesel you start with B85 -> B95 -> THEN B100. If you go straight to B100 it will take any ---- in you lines, filter etc and send it into the motor.

I just want a cheap car. The VW is probably better then the other cars and definately worth more but I just want to be debt free.

teh incorrectness. I worked on VeeDubs, so i know directly how shittily designed they are. Unless of course you like pulling intake mani's (that require's a special tool) to change your spark plugs, which happen to be $12 a plug. The diesels are better, but still i wouldnt touch one, no power and shitty to work on.

Im happy strapping up with a 10mm, 12mm, 14mm,17mm, 19mm and a few screwdrivers/wrenches/pliers and working on my HonduH

if you're talking about the 2.0, you don't need a special tool to take the upper plenum off, nor do you even need to remove it if you have skills.

But if you are an oil change jockey you do ;)
Everyone has their preference in cars, i still LOVE hondas and will probably have another one but VWs are a nicer car, plain and simple. Seats are better qualty, the amount of sound deadening etc. not everyone's cup of tea but I like it.

I would like to see how, unless they changed them with the new body style. It used to be where you weren't doing ---- unless you had that long ass 5mm hex key to remove that upper plenum. I belive the 1.8;s and 1.8t's are the same way. Either way they are equaly ghey. Scirroco was their best car, cause it reminded me of the CRX, lol.

but in all seriousness, VeeDubs went to ---- duing the 90's, as well as most euro cars, well cars in general.

post pics.

Its a extended t handle type deal...the owner of the shop i used to work for had to buy it from the VW place. if you look on the manifold, you see where there is a small hole bored out between the runners for you to get the hex key thru there and undo the bolts. nothing else works that ive seen for that ----. Thats the quickest and easiest way to get those fuckers out, you cant get any tool down to or around those plugs. In the older versions, yes, like the 96 body style cars, but in the new ones, not happening. Show me then I will believe you, but I've done quite a few new beetles and jettas and the all were the same way. Hell they're the same motors between the 1.8's, 1.8t. 1.9 and 2.0. the v6, you dont have to take ---- loose but the engine covers iirc. Most of the V Dubs that came through our shop was 4 bangers. I will say that the die-slow version is a hella lot better built than the gas version, only major problem I ran into on those was the wastegates ------- up on the turbo's, had like 2 jettas that wouldnt build boost due to stuck open wastegates. talk about no power.

The funny thing is, the only thing I liked about my Mkiii jetta was the seats. Everything else was ----. It was truly gutless.

Corrado G60 > every other fuel-injected VW. If you don't like SC's, remove it and slap a turbo on, the thing's already made to be boosted. And they look slick.

My fav vw ever made = corrado

It kind of reminds me of another car that was produced in the mid 80s. I just can't put my finger on it though.....

Oh wait! It's my fav honda... it was a crx.

Did you just compare the CRX to a Corrado? :l

G60 is the largest mistake VW ever made. Although when it worked, it worked well :)

Re: Swapped shitvic

Nonsense, the only real problems they had were leaky blowers at 75k, which is about when blowers need to be rebuilt anyway. That and hot weather performance sucked. 16v head swap and you're golden.

the 16 second 1/4 times stock were great too

Re: Swapped shitvic

Like Hondas do better. A lot of that is due to 8v head and the slushboxes VW calls transaxles.

Ah, bench racing at its finest.

Pretty sure there were some Acura/Honda models that were better than 16.0 in the 1/4 without the aid of that rubbish excuse of a mechanical miscarriage VW called a supercharger.

Admit it. The G60 was horrible.

Sweet by waisting money every 40,000kms(or less) on rebuilding the s/c.

but go ahead start naming what makes G60's sweet :P

24V VR6= ;D

1.8T isn't a bad platform either from what I have seen.

Wait, what is all this VW nonsense? O0

d-man 11-29-2007 12:27 AM

Re: Swapped shitvic

So in the 1/4 mile they suck which probably means they suck for road racing and red light racing and they need to have the s/c rebuilt every 50k miles..... It doesn't sound like the G60 has much going for it..... ::)

Sure they do. You can supposedly use their front rotors for the 11.1" front brake conversion on Hondas.
