Maybe I'm blowing things out of proportion, but if that were a car no way I'd own it - my time is more valuable than scraping neon paint off of my vents and interior door handles, and fixing 1001 wiring and mechanical rigjobs when the correct repair was easier and cheaper. That's the vibe I get off the thing.
Anyway, sorry to derail. Congrats on a fun gas sipper, and congrats on the sweet harem of toys.

its not that bad, there isn't anything electrical wrong with it. but problems are what you get with used stuff.
there aren't any problems with the front end, it tracks straight and stops well

i had a secaII for a my first bike. mine was tad more beat up than yours and i paid 800 for it, rode it for a year and sold it a little more beat than i when i got it for 800 bucks. after a few months i really hated that thing. SERIOUSLY cold blooded, vibrated like all hell around 5k (i think it was 5k), a few electrical problems, soft forks, etc. all in all though, it was a good first bike, i learned a lot.
