Default d16z6 in 1995 cx

Can i just drop a d16z6 in my 1995 civic cx, or do i have to change the wireing harness? Will all of the sensors match up? Also i am wireing v-tec to a v-tec controller, so i don't have to worry about that.

If you want it done properly you should switch over to a p28 and just run the extra wires for vtec solenoid, vtec oil press, and the knock sensor, cheaper and much more effective than running the stock CX ecu with a hack.

I heard that some Civic HB is already hook up with VTEC. So all you gotta do is check the wirings on the ECU side. So I think all you really need is the engine wiring harness from the 92-95 Civic VTEC engine harness. Just run a P28 and forget about the VTEC controller.

Don't forget, You have to wire in the heater circuit for the O2 sensor if you're going to run the p28!
