well lets first get some numbers of a stock unit to compare to:
here i have a exhaust spring of a d15b7
and my crude measuring devices i have here (beer bottle cap press, bathroom scale and a ruler) since im at home and not school or the shop
spring #1 : 91 lb/in
spring #2 : 89 lb/in
spring #3 : 90 lb/in
so say we take the best number being 91 lb/in for reference, the legnth of teh spring is 2.125" long and 7/8" diameter, with 1/8" coil thickness...
now lets look on mcmaster for the proper spring lol

I don't mean to pee on your parade, even though that's all I seem to do.
You aren't up to speed with cars yet, but when you get there your sort of mental flexability and ability to think outside the box is going to be one HUGE ------- asset... but, right now it's more of an asshat. Just keep plugging, you'll do fine and make your JD proud.
