Port and polish = Bad?

Port and polish = Bad?
Hmm, read this guys article, seems pretty convincing, just wondering what everyone thinks.
http://mototuneusa.com/think_fast_intake_porting.htm
There is alot of neat information on that website, It is designed for bikes mainly but cars and bikes have pretty much the same engine layout, alot of the info on there can be applied to both.
I find his theory about the porting very interesting and it is a fact that air moving through a bigger area means slower speed means less CFM. how would this apply to an engine with forced induction? would it make a difference or not?

Well true for bikes but somehow I disagree with cars, if you know anything about bikes you know their engines rev much much higher than what cars are ever put to. Also if you take a look at that dyno sheet it goes up to 18,000 RPM. So are you going to rev your motor that high? I dont think so.

A lot of people have known for a long time that there is such a thing as too big, for the reason that it will decrease velocity of air flow. Just like an exhaust that's too big, sure it will flow more but if you don't have enough air flow to fill it up why go bigger?
