most of my day has been labeling the wiring harnesses so i can plug and play, after i get it all connected.

been reddin up, not much other than i need to splice wires into stock harness, and on an ether turnover it spuddered once. only oiled the walls up really

 

And I found one. It's a 1990 with 114k. Manual, EFI already =). White with brown interior. I'm gonna go look at it in a coupe days, but if it's in alright condition for a 17 year old truck, is it worth $1,500 or should I talk the negro dealership down a couple hundred?

 

if its a 4spd, you can throw 20lbs of boost at it and only worry about the clutch.

1990 was a good year.. just oil pumps were the only real problem from that year.. 1500 is good if the door channels/floorboards/spring hangers/gastank arent rusted out

This might get turbocharged before the Prelude.

 

fords use such a 'pure' metal that it's more prone to rust. if the truck sits, rust will grow, and tolerances can widen just from thinking about it, too.

IF it sat for over a year, you will have brake issues.

oil pumps like to slop a bit, heavier oil wont really fix it. youll have low pressure at idle
