international buyers, I got you covered. I ain't afraid to help europe out.

Xenocron is from europe, though he claims not to be. I ain't ashamed of my PC, warm beer drinking, UN *** kissn' neighbors across the pond. Send me them ECU's.

anybody can chip an ecu if they've done it once or twice, i mean hell, we've got people chipping ecu's that don't even know how to use the programs correctly from what i've been seeing in the EM forum but can they keep up with the demand once business starts poppin off, or will they flap like josh ross, street kings, and onxy did? it's not easy when you've got like 5 ecu's sitting in front of you to chip and they just keep coming in, it's just like running a business, you have to place orders almost every week for supplies, go to the post office every day, have good customer contact and support. i work 8 hours a day, go home and work on ecu's for about 2-3 hours every day. test every single ecu in my own car before i send it out, if someone doesn't like the way it runs, i'll make changes to the chip, send them a new one and let them return the original once the new one gets there, etc., etc. i see a lot of people trying to chip ecu's, but really it just matters who gets the business and more importantly, why they keep getting the business i say pretty much, chris and i own ecu chipping at hmt, and there's a reason for that, so good luck to all in your endeavors

I've chipped many ecu's, but have never advertised it. Mostly done locally. I've had 5 ecu's sitting infront of me, that's not uncommon. I've done ecu's for JD Racing in New Brunswick, they've used these ecu's for some of their customers cars (if you recall, these are the guys with the orange teg with the h22 turbo). I've dyno tuned an all motor b16 to 179whp and 119trq. I have a turbo'ed LS that i've programmed countless times. I've been soldering for years building other electronic circuits, including my DIY-Wideband kit and Batronix eprom programmer kit. I didn't learn how to solder just for doing ecu's.

Needless to say, i'm not someone who's chipped 1 or 2 ecu's.

I decided to post my help on here for the Canadians. That's all I'm offering, and I didn't see a problem with it.

i wasn't really referring to you stan but just about 5 mos. ago weren't you only running like 5 psi b/c you couldn't get your car tuned for more?? and i meant like 5 ecu's on your doorstep to get out in one day that wasn't intended to be a battle of the chippers post, all i was saying is, when i first took on the task, i had no idea how much time, effort, and work it really was.

I figured it wasn't aimed at me. I was only running 5 psi because I was only running a basemap and didn't have any time to get on the local dyno (now there's 2!). I don't think there is a huge market for ecu chipping in Canada, so I don't think it'll be a huge deal. But if it is, it usually doesn't take me more than an hour to desolder/solder an ecu.

Stan

PS: I still love you.

Ditto on this!

...and Stealth, if you start chipping ECUs...I'm gonna start selling oil lines

But seriously...look at Stealthmode guys. He has been around and has hung on to his oil line business. Why? Because he is here to stay. Honestly, I think those 'other' guys have a better product but I would buy from Stealth (and all of you would too) because you know he is going to take care of you. You also want to buy from a guy that consistantly helps you in other ways too (by moderating this forum for example).

I myself personally donate to Turboedit (Jparker), PGMFI (blundar), and now Blake for every ECU I chip or every chipping kit I sell. And I give back to HMT as well because HMT has treated me well. I'm certainly not doing as many ECUs as Kev here is but it is tasking. I cant sign on to AIM anymore without getting bombarded. I dont do this for the $$$ either...and i think most of the people trying to sling rock in this game are...and it shows.

I personally think most people want to buy the person...even the members at HMT who are some of the cheapest ***** in the world.

I'm here to stay, Kev is here to stay, Stealth is here to...

You get the point...I just hope all these other so-called chippers arent going to bail like some of the aforementioned chippers of HMT past.

Stan, good luck to you...competition is a good thing.

BTW...I'm pretty sure it only costs me an extra $5 to ship to Canada
